Copyright & Takedown
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Fun Facts Zone respects the intellectual property of others and asks visitors to do the same. This page explains what is ours, how we use other people’s material, and how to ask for something to be removed.
What is ours
The original writing, selection and arrangement of facts, the site design, the Fun Facts Zone name, logo and mascot are © Fun Facts Zone. You may share links and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Anything more — reproducing articles, scraping the site, republishing lists — needs our written permission: funfactszonecom@gmail.com.
How we use other people’s material
Facts are not copyrightable, and we write our own words. Where an article mentions a brand, product, person, film, game, team or work, or shows an image or clip, it does so for identification, commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching and entertainment — uses we believe are fair use / fair dealing under applicable law. Trademarks and copyrighted material remain the property of their owners; their appearance here does not imply any sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation. Where an image is licensed or in the public domain we try to credit its source. Embedded videos and posts are shown through the platform’s own embed tools and remain on that platform.
Takedown requests (copyright notice)
If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, email funfactszonecom@gmail.com with the subject line “Copyright notice” and include:
- your name, address and email;
- a description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed, and where we can see the original;
- the exact URL(s) on https://funfactszone.com where the material appears;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review valid notices promptly and remove or disable access to the material where appropriate. We may forward the notice to the person who posted the material. Knowingly false notices may expose you to liability.
Counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe it was a mistake or a misidentification, email us a counter-notice with your contact details, the URL that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, India. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not take legal action within a reasonable time.
Repeat infringers
We remove content from, and may block, contributors who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.
Credit and corrections
If you own something that appears here and would prefer a different credit, a link, or a correction rather than removal, say so — we are happy to fix it. funfactszonecom@gmail.com
